The Kalamalama has wide circulation amongst HPU's diverse student base of around 8,000 including faculty. The newspaper is also distributed via an extensive mailing list consisting of:
- High schools and colleges on Oahu and neighbor islands
- Hawaii news media including the Star Advertiser
- National and international high schools, colleges, and businesses.
